We are currently seeking highly motivated students, postdocs and visiting scholars to join our lab for an exciting journey of creative science and cutting-edge technological exploration!

Together we will pursue new directions in the field of metamaterials, nanophotonics, perovskites, MEMS/NEMS, energy harvesting, smart structures, 2D materials, nanocomposites and next-generation aerospace materials.

A solid background in one of the following areas is thus preferred: physics, materials science, or engineering (mechanical/aerospace/electrical/optical). For students, graduate research assistantships are available. We welcome undergraduate and visiting students as well.

If interested, please send an email with CV attached to Prof. Zi Jing Wong (zijing@tamu.edu).

Our department and engineering school are ranked 7th and 12th respectively by U.S. News & World Report in 2018.

As Prof. Wong is also affiliated with the Materials Science and Engineering (MSEN) department, we also welcome students interested in pursuing a MS or PhD degree in MSE.
